Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 13th January 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Ishaan tells Savi to be brave because she must perform her family’s last rituals. Ishaan encourages Savi to start. The priest tells Savi to carry a pot and walk around the bodies. Ishaan assists her. Savi walks around her family’s bodies. Then, the priest instructs Savi to light the fire. Savi does so.
Savi feels like everything, including her family, is gone. Ishaan hugs her to comfort her. The onlookers feel sad for Savi, wondering how she will cope without her family. Yashwant questions Surekha about why she’s sending Reeva and Nishikanth to fetch Ishaan, who said he would return after Savi’s family rituals.
Surekha tells Yashwant that Ishaan feels responsible and sorry for what happened to Savi’s family. She believes Savi might take advantage of Ishaan’s guilt, so she’s sending Reeva and Nishikanth to get Ishaan back quickly. Yashwant agrees.
Reeva, praying, tells Surekha she’s only going because Surekha asked her to. Surekha urges Reeva to trust her decision. The priest instructs Savi to scatter her family’s ashes in the river. He asks Ishaan to help with the death certificates. Ishaan agrees and tells Savi to take care before he leaves.
Savi scatters the ashes. Then, she imagines her family leaving her in the river and begs them not to go, running into the water. The priest says they need Savi‘s signature and asks Ishaan to return her. Ishaan realizes Savi isn’t at the riverbank, spots her in the water, and dives in to rescue her.
Ishaan pulls Savi out and tries to revive her. He notices she’s not breathing and starts CPR, urging her to come back to him. Nishikanth and Reeva see Ishaan giving CPR. Ishaan tells them there’s no time to waste. He presses on Savi’s stomach, and she coughs out water. Ishaan pleads with her to open her eyes.
Precap: Savi apologizes to Harini in an ambulance, regretting being unable to save them. Ishaan admits to Savi that he caused her family’s death. He doesn’t notice Savi sleeping next to him.
