BhagyaLakshmi 20th September 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Shalu tells Rishi that their grandmother knows another man named Rishi. This man wants to get married, and their grandmother thinks that Lakshmi would be a great choice. Shalu asks Rishi if he thinks Lakshmi isn’t the best girl for him. Rishi answers quickly that Lakshmi is the best, which makes Shalu happy.

Bani says that they shouldn’t call Rishi their “brother-in-law” anymore. They make fun of Rishi and hint that he likes Lakshmi. Bani even brings out the old wedding pictures of Rishi and Lakshmi that Rishi kept.
Sonia disagrees with Bani when she asks Rishi if he misses Lakshmi. Shalu thinks that Rishi loves and will marry another girl named Maliska. Shalu says that if Rishi really loved Lakshmi, he would have already asked her to marry him. Bani says that they want Lakshmi to marry the other Rishi, who lives in another country, because Lakshmi might not love Rishi back. Shalu thinks that Lakshmi will agree because she always listens to their grandmother.
Bani and Shalu keep pushing Rishi to tell Lakshmi how he feels about her. If Lakshmi marries the other Rishi, they’ll have to use a different name for our Rishi. Rishi’s mother works with Maliska to plan his wedding. Sonia tells Karishma that Lakshmi’s grandmother has decided to find Lakshmi a new husband. The grandmother says again that she wants Lakshmi to marry Rishi, who is one of her relatives.
A priest comes to help Rishi and Maliska get ready for their wedding. Maliska’s mom is looking forward to the wedding, but Maliska is worried that Lakshmi will be there. Rishi thinks about Lakshmi as he looks at pictures from their wedding. He can’t stop thinking about her at the engagement party.
At the party, Maliska’s parents hope that the wedding will go well. Rishi and Lakshmi look sad at each other. As the rituals start, Shalu’s grandmother tells her that Rishi will tell her how he feels if everything goes as planned. Rishi is thinking about something, and his brother whispers to him that he loves him. Maliska thinks he’s talking about her, but Rishi knows what he really means. At the end of the story, Shalu hints that Lakshmi’s love life will be talked about again soon.
