Virendra and Neelam offer Shagun to Vikrant, while Anjana and Saloni present it to Lakshmi. Rano joins in, extending her congratulations to Anjana and Saloni.
Saloni then prompts Vikrant and Lakshmi to share sweets, symbolizing the celebration of their union. Vikrant and Lakshmi comply with Saloni’s suggestion, and she, in turn, distributes sweets among the attendees. Holding back his tears, Rishi claims he’s retiring to his room. When Karishma discerns his teary eyes, Rishi deflects with a made-up excuse before retreating to his sanctuary.
Alone, Rishi muses over Lakshmi. He silently confesses his love for her and grapples with the reality of living without her. He acknowledges his obligation to his family and Malishka, feeling powerless against the current situation. He contemplates the impending void in the house and his heart once Lakshmi leaves post-wedding. His reverie is interrupted when Lakshmi appears beside him.
Lakshmi, sensing Rishi’s distress, questions him. Unable to contain his feelings, Rishi embraces her and pours out his heart. Lakshmi, taken aback, implores him to stop, warning him of the complications he’s courting. She reminds him of the impossibility of their union and his commitment to Malishka. Rishi pleads with her, questioning if her departure causes her any pain. Lakshmi dismisses his plea, asserting their roles as mere puppets of time. She urges him to accept the reality for Malishka’s sake. The scene abruptly ends when Rishi realizes that he is dreaming about Lakshmi.
