Bade Acche Lagte Hain 28th July 2025 Written Update: The episode begins with Bhagyashree waking Rishabh, reminding him that they need to attend the wedding. Rishabh sees her without spectacles and compliments her beauty, saying she looks like an angel. Bhagyashree gets teary due to her contact lenses, and Rishabh lovingly comforts her. She thanks him for always making her smile and for transforming her life for the better.
Meanwhile, Karthik is stressed thinking about Purab’s warning. Sowmya, trying to get his attention, asks which saree suits her better. When he doesn’t respond, she vents her frustration, accusing his family—and him—of ignoring her. She compares him to Rishabh and calls him a bad husband and son. Karthik loses his cool and asks her to stop.
Padma gives Bhagyashree gold jewellery and asks her to get ready. Rishabh jokingly questions how they managed to carry all the gold. Padma says she hid it in an “atta dabba” (flour container), and Bhagyashree admits she does the same. Curious, Rishabh decides to inspect the kitchen.
Sowmya urges Karthik to get his father’s signature on some property papers so they can start a new business. When Karthik ignores her again, she becomes emotional and threatens to tell her sister about his behavior. Though Karthik apologizes, she refuses to forgive him and walks away.
Purab calls Karthik, upset that he hasn’t been answering. Karthik lies, saying his phone was on silent and pleads with him not to send anyone to his house. Purab smirks and says his man has already reached. Just then, the doorbell rings and Karthik imagines the man shooting Vinay. Karthik screams, alarming Rishabh. However, the man says he has come to the wrong address and leaves. Shaken, Karthik promises Purab that he will get his father’s signature, and Purab agrees, but mocks him internally, hoping Rishabh finds the keys soon as there’s much work pending.
Later, Rishabh searches the kitchen and finds the keys. Bhagyashree enters and asks what he’s doing. He says he’s preparing a kitchen inventory list and notices she seems worried. She admits she feels something might go wrong at the wedding. Rishabh reassures her.
As everyone gathers in the hall, Vinay lovingly asks Rishabh to wear his father’s traditional vesti and praises how good he looks in it. Meanwhile, Sowmya tries to instigate Karthik, saying Rishabh is stealing his place in the family. Karthik asks Vinay to sign some papers, claiming they’re bill-related. Pressed for time by Padma, Vinay signs them without reading.
Bhagyashree and her family arrive at the wedding venue. As she approaches the rangoli, Padma stops her, saying it’s inauspicious. Ramya, Sowmya’s sister and a doctor, also arrives and happily reunites with Sowmya. However, Ramya accidentally steps on and ruins the rangoli. Moments later, Shreyas informs everyone that groom Shekhar is missing. Ramya recalls seeing him leave with a long-haired man.
Sowmya and Shreyas tell Bhagyashree that Rishabh helped Shekhar escape. Bhagyashree calls Rishabh and Shekhar, but they both switch off their phones. Meenakshi’s family panics and urges Bhagyashree to reveal her in-laws’ address, suspecting Shekhar might be hiding there. She struggles to respond while Rishabh tries to calm Shekhar, and indirectly tries to clear his fear on marriage.
