Anupama 20th November 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Anupama rushes to the Shah family’s home. She is shocked to find Hasmuk and Leela on the ground, holding hands. Anu tells Malti and Anuj to call Anupama. Malti offers Anu some soup, but Anu insists on seeing Anupama. Anuj tries to calm Anu down. Malti explains that Anupama can’t be in two places at once. She thinks Leela is old enough to look after herself and compares her to Kavya and Dimple. Anuj is surprised.
Anupama finds out that Leela and Hasmuk have fallen. Leela is embarrassed about making a mess on the floor. Anupama helps them both and looks after them. She thinks about Anu. Hasmuk notices Anupama’s care. Anupama makes them both smile.
Malti and Barkha talk about Anupama. Malti feels that Anuj does a lot for Anupama’s child, but Anupama isn’t there for Anu. Pakhi tells Malti to stop lecturing, reminding her that she once left Anuj at an orphanage. Barkha scolds Pakhi for being rude. Pakhi questions whether Anuj is helping Anupama’s child and serving Barkha and Malti. Barkha calls Pakhi disrespectful. Malti gets upset and separates Anupama and the Shahs from Anuj’s life.
Kavya and Dimple say sorry to Leela and Hasmuk. Dimple explains they were delayed because of Sarla’s argument. Anupama tells Dimple and Kavya to rest and asks Leela and Hasmuk if they need anything else. Hasmuk wants Anupama to sit with them for a while.
Hasmuk feels sad about getting old. He says they aren’t scared of dying but scared of losing each other. Anupama tells him not to feel bad about ageing, as everyone will get old one day. Hasmuk and Leela thanked Anupama for her help. Anupama decides to go see Anu.
Anupama comforts Anu. Anu asks why Anupama left her. Anupama explains she went to help Hasmuk and Leela because they were alone. Kavya and Dimple choose to stay with Leela and Hasmuk. Anupama distracts Anu and remembers Leela and Hasmuk.
Hasmuk and Leela think back on their past. Romil admires Anupama for her love and care. He warns Anupama about Malti, saying she might try to separate them. Anupama believes no one can separate her from Anuj.

The episode is interesting because it has both dramatic and emotional parts. The fact that Anupama acted quickly when Hasmuk and Leela fell shows how caring and responsible she is. The scene where she comforts them and makes them smile is one of the most touching. Malti, Barkha, and Pakhi’s side story adds to the tension, especially since Anupama and the Shahs could be pushed out of Anuj’s life anytime.
Hasmuk’s thoughts on getting older show that the episode also deals with themes of getting older and family support.
