Anupama 20th May 2023 Written Episode Update: In today’s episode, Anuj tells Maya there’s nothing to talk about. Maya pushes Anuj to go back to Kapadia Mansion to create new memories. She thinks they need to forget the old ones to make new ones. Suddenly, Hasmuk interrupts their conversation. Everyone, including the Shahs and Kapadias, are surprised. Hasmuk checks if Anuj is okay. Anuj nods. Hasmuk insists they should talk. He encourages Anuj to speak his mind.
Barkha asks Maya what Hasmuk is planning. She worries that Anuj and Hasmuk are getting closer. Barkha fears that Anuj might reveal everything. Maya feels stressed. Hasmuk again urges Anuj to speak. Hasmuk reminds him that he can share things with him that he can’t share with Anupama. Hasmuk points out that Anuj’s silence is causing confusion, and only Anuj can clear things up. He asks Anuj to speak again. Anuj tells Hasmuk that he only speaks the truth. Hasmuk challenges him to say it while looking him in the eyes.

Anuj insists to Hasmuk that he’s telling the truth. Hasmuk then asks a question on behalf of Anupama. He wants to know about Anuj’s relationship with Maya. He wonders why Maya is making choices for Anuj. Anuj chooses not to answer and apologizes to Hasmuk.
Meanwhile, Meenu chats with Anu and Bhairvi, calling the older folks boring. She plans to prepare a dance for Samar’s wedding. They discuss what they’ll wear to the wedding. Bhairvi mentions she’ll wear whatever Anupama gives her. Anu seems jealous upon hearing this.

Finally, Anupama and Anuj meet. Anuj congratulates Anupama on her upcoming move to the USA to follow her dream. Anupama asks if that’s why he’s here. She hopes Anuj will speak up. As Anuj is about to respond, Maya drags him away, leaving Anupama, Maya, and Vanraj in suspense.
