Bade Acche Lagte Hain 22nd August 2025 Written Update: The episode begins with a big twist as Sunny congratulates Nikhil 🎉. He says, “Morning proposal and now relatives have come for your alliance.” Revati looks shocked and asks what proposal he means. Sunny explains that Nikhil proposed to Bhagyshree in the morning and she agreed 💍.
Everyone thought Bhagyshree accepted only to make Rishabh jealous, but the arrival of relatives makes it look serious. Meenakshi’s mother asks if the engagement is for Bhagyshree or Revati 🤔. Sowmya taunts both sisters for making such big decisions without family consent. Sunny realizes he has created a huge mess. Padma steps in, saying Bhagyshree will answer herself, but since she fears darkness, they should search for her.
💔 Bhagyshree & Rishabh Face-Off
Bhagyshree confronts Rishabh angrily 😠 and tells him to leave her life, declaring she is going to marry Nikhil.
Rishabh asks if she truly has no feelings for him. Bhagyshree insists she hates him 💔 and repeats she will marry Nikhil.
Rishabh, with tears in his eyes, says he only wants her happiness. He tells her to close her eyes and think of the one she truly loves. Both shut their eyes – and destiny speaks:

Inside the dark meter room, Rishabh assures Bhagyshree not to worry. He gives her his phone with low battery and promises to find a way out. Bhagyshree nervously asks his plan. Rishabh replies they must act fast or remain trapped in darkness forever.
Soon, Bhagyshree’s family hears her voice from inside and panics 😨. They break the door open – and are shocked to see Rishabh with her!
Vinay angrily demands to know how Rishabh got inside. Rishabh questions Sonia and Nitya for locking them in. Vinay then calms Bhagyshree and joins her hand with Nikhil’s, announcing 💍:
“Sunny told me you agreed to marry Nikhil in the office. Tomorrow is your engagement!”
He blesses them and asks Nikhil to always keep his daughter happy. Nikhil agrees.
Just then, Purab and Revati arrive. Vinay informs them about Bhagyshree and Nikhil’s wedding plan. Rishabh holds back his tears 😢 as Vinay leaves with his family. Sonia and Nitya apologize to Rishabh.

Bhagyshree scolds Nitya, saying her actions dragged both families into this mess. Meanwhile, some LGBT women arrive to congratulate Bhagyshree 🏳️🌈.
Kaddu goes to Rishabh, but he tells her she can visit him anytime for non-veg food 🍗. Bhagyshree interrupts and asks Kaddu to come with her. But Rishabh firmly tells Kaddu to leave with her mother, as her father will continue to live in the same society.
At home, Padma asks Revati to eat breakfast. Vinay says he is going to buy a ring for Nikhil 💍, but Padma asks him to wait. She explains that Revati is on a food strike. Vinay lovingly urges Revati to eat her favorite food, but she remains silent. Sowmya casually says she herself is eating fully due to her cravings.
