Mangal Lakshmii 27th July 2025 Written Update: The episode starts with Kapil at the dining table, telling Pratima that it seems Mangal left early in the morning without disturbing anyone. He says he messaged her, but she hasn’t replied, so she must be busy with Akshat. Kapil regrets not waking up to drop Mangal off. Pratima corrects him and says Mangal left during the night itself. Kapil asks why she didn’t inform him. Pratima replies that she wasn’t aware and that the guard had told her. Kapil cancels his meeting and decides to go see Mangal. Pratima, worried that Mangal might reveal she knew about her departure, offers to accompany him.
The doctor checks Mangal and tells Adit that she is stable. He mentions that her blood samples have been sent to the lab to determine the reason for her condition. He then gives her an injection. Just then, Kapil and Pratima arrive. Kapil is shocked to see Mangal unconscious. Adit stops him and explains that Mangal is unwell. Kusum says Mangal didn’t wake up, so they called the doctor.
As Mangal slowly regains consciousness, Kapil, after seeking Adit’s permission, goes to see her. Kusum asks Mangal how she’s feeling, and Mangal replies, “Fine.” The doctor then receives a call from the lab and informs the family that Mangal had consumed a strong dose of sleeping pills, which is why she felt dizzy and sleepy. He advises them to keep her hydrated and leaves.
Adit asks Mangal why she took sleeping pills and questions the need for it. He says he saw her at the party, and she seemed fine and happy. Mangal is surprised and asks how he knows. Adit explains that Akshat had fallen ill, and since he couldn’t reach her phone, he went to the venue but was stopped and pushed out by the guards. Kapil is shocked and questions how the guards could behave that way. Pratima tries to justify it by saying the guards might have reacted because Adit had previously created a scene. Kusum then sends Akshat to eat breakfast.
Kapil asks Mangal if she usually takes sleeping pills. Mangal denies it and says she felt dizzy the previous night and that Pratima ma’am gave her a tablet after which she felt sleepy and left their place to go home to Akshat. Sowmya suspects Pratima’s intentions and wonders why she gave Mangal a sleeping pill. Kapil directly questions Pratima about it. Pratima claims it was an honest mistake and that she didn’t do it intentionally. Suddenly, they realize Mangal is not in bed.
Meanwhile, Mangal checks on Akshat and asks how he is. Akshat replies that he’s fine and asks for permission to watch TV for a while. Kapil apologizes to Mangal on his mother’s behalf and asks why she didn’t wake him up. Mangal says she didn’t want to disturb him. Sowmya confronts Pratima, saying she can’t be fooled and that she knows Pratima gave Mangal the sleeping pill on purpose.
Kapil tells Mangal that not dropping her home was his mistake and promises it won’t happen again. Mangal says she’s just happy that Akshat’s fever has come down. Kusum stops Pratima from leaving and tells her she’s unsure whether the act was intentional or not. She reminds Pratima that Mangal has come into their home as a daughter-in-law and questions how she could let Mangal leave the house after consuming the pill.
Kusum urges Pratima to try being a better mother-in-law. Pratima retorts, reminding Kusum of the time she had accused Mangal of killing her father and thrown her out for six months. She tells Kusum to look in the mirror before pointing fingers and walks away.
Later, Akshat tries to reach for medicine on a shelf. Kapil helps and hands it to him. Akshat thanks him and apologizes for his earlier behavior, admitting he said hurtful things. Kapil forgives him and reminds him they’re buddies and can share anything with each other. Pratima visits Mangal and gives her a Shagun ki Thaal. She then asks Mangal to observe the Teej fast (Teej Ka Vrath) for Kapil. Mangal agrees. Adit, who is on a phone call, doesn’t overhear the conversation.
Mangal receives a call from her staff informing her that Kapil has canceled her meeting with the Ghaziabad client. The staff member asks if he should reschedule. Mangal says there’s no need and that she’ll go meet the client herself. He agrees. Meanwhile, Adit finishes his call and says he’ll also attend the Ghaziabad meeting on time.
