The doctors are determined to save Anupama until the end. But Anupama takes her last breath, and Anuj also falls unconscious. Both Anupama and Anuj remember their past together and wish to die together. The doctor informs the Shah family that Anupama is no more. Hasmuk breaks down along with Sagar, Paritosh, Titu, and Adhya. Anupama’s soul talks to Anuj. Anuj says Anupama can’t leave him because they are meant to be together. He also says he can’t plan Adhya’s wedding without Anupama.
Anuj promises Anupama he won’t trouble her anymore but begs her not to leave him. Anupama tells Anuj that she is going away. Anuj says he deserves to be with the love of his life. Anupama asks Anuj to let her go. Anuj insists that Anupama can’t leave him and says he will give up his life if anything happens to her. Anupama asks Anuj to take care of himself. They check their Radha Krishna locket, and Anuj breaks down, calling out Anupama’s name.
