Yeh Hai Chahatein 22nd August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Kaashvi cannot sleep, so she walks. She sees a shadow and gets scared. She screams. Pradyumna comes there and turns on the lights. He asks her what happened. She tells him about the shadow. He orders the servants to check every room. The servants check every room but find nothing. Pradyumna tells Kaashvi to call him if she gets scared again. They go back to sleep. Swati smirks.

The next day, Kaashvi wakes up. Swati tells Kaashvi that maybe she saw a shadow. She suggests that Neelam might have returned because of Pradyumna. Kaashvi tells Swati that she knows Pradyumna divorced Neelam. Swati reveals that Neelam died after her divorce from Pradyumna. She says that Neelam’s ghost has come back. She adds that she is not trying to scare Kaashvi but warning her. Kaashvi refuses to believe Swati. She asks Swati not to talk about ghosts and such things.

Meanwhile, Jagadish tells Nitya that this time, Arjun and Meera should sit together as a couple for the Shravan Puja. He asks her to give Meera the family bangle. Nitya agrees. Meera tells Karun to study well at school. The students congratulate Karun for coming second in the school exam. Karun gives credit to Meera. He calls Meera “Maa.” Meera gets emotional hearing this and hugs Karun.
In the office, Kaashvi and Arjun reach for the same coffee cup without noticing each other (the title song plays in the background). The peon hands them their coffee cups. Arjun asks Kaashvi how her newly married life is going. Kaashvi sees Meera, tells Arjun that her married life is going well, and then goes inside. Meera hugs Arjun and tells him that Karun accepted her as his “Maa.” Arjun tells Meera she deserves it and praises her for caring for Karun.
She tells him that the baby kicked for the first time. He feels it, too, and gets happy. Kaashvi sees this and feels sad. She goes to Pradyumna. Pradyumna tells Kaashvi that their land deal is finalized. He asks if Swati troubled her. Kaashvi asks if Neelam and Swati are close. He says he doesn’t want to talk about Neelam and leaves. Arjun overhears their conversation and wonders if Pradyumna is hiding something.
The next day, Nitya says that Meera deserves to be punished. She pours oil on the stairs, thinking Meera will step on it and fall. Meanwhile, Arjun helps Meera with her saree and compliments her. She leaves but steps on the oil without noticing it. She slips, but Arjun catches her. Nitya sees this. Meera holds her stomach and screams. Nitya realizes that Meera is pregnant.
