Yeh Hai Chahatein 7th August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Nitya tells Kaashvi’s family that Arjun made the right decision by marrying Meera. She invites them to Meera’s “muh dikayi” ceremony. Dadi scolds Nitya for inviting them, saying Arjun ruined Kaashvi’s life. Nitya sarcastically asks them to come and then leaves. Meanwhile, Meera wonders why the “muh dikayi” ceremony is necessary. She hears Karun screaming in pain and rushes to him. He tells her that his stomach hurts, so she takes him to the hospital.

Later, Nitya welcomes some ladies from the society. Romila arrives with her daughter-in-law. Nitya expresses surprise at Romila’s presence. They find out that Meera is not at home. Romila jokingly suggests that Meera might have gone to the police station to file a complaint against Nitya, mentioning that Nitya could go to jail again as there is no bail in domestic violence cases. Nitya vows not to spare Meera.

At the hospital, Kaashvi asks the receptionist about Nagesh. She sees Karun with Meera. Meera asks the doctor to treat Karun, who is then taken inside. After a while, the doctor asks who Karun’s mother is. Both Kaashvi and Meera claim to be his mother. Meera clears up the confusion for the doctor, who then scolds them for letting Karun overeat junk food. Meera blames Karun’s grandmother for this. The doctor advises caution and leaves.

Nitya is puzzled as to why Meera isn’t answering her calls. She overhears the society ladies gossiping about her and Meera. Meera asks Kaashvi to watch over Karun as he is unconscious. Kaashvi gets emotional seeing Karun and tells him she misses him a lot. Meera reassures Kaashvi that Karun will be fine. However, Kaashvi accuses Meera of showing fake concern and says she will never forgive her. Meera then reveals that Mohan is dead. Kaashvi mentions what Arjun told her.

Meera decides she can’t reveal the truth to Kaashvi, who believes Arjun’s version. Meera finally answers Nitya’s call and is ordered to come home immediately. Karun, in his unconscious state, calls out for his mother. Meera goes to him, and he holds her hand, asking her not to leave. Kaashvi tells Meera that Karun needs her and decides to go to the Bajwa house herself. She learns that Nagesh is unconscious and leaves.

Guests at Nitya’s place ask her to call Meera. Nitya lies, saying Meera went to the salon to get ready. Kaashvi arrives with a veil, and Nitya mistakes her for Meera, taking her inside. Nitya shows her a gift, and Romila asks to see her face. Kaashvi starts coughing to avoid revealing herself.
